So I decided to list off everything I could think about when it comes to running on treadmills.
In this video, I talk about all the tips I can think of for running on a treadmill. This includes warming up slow, setting incline to 1-2%, not using the hand rail and looking up to keep your posture p right. For motivation and to make the treadmill less boring, use a plan or use the pre-programmed plans, listen to music/tv shows/ Netflix/podcasts/ or audio books. There are more but I can’t remember them again haha. Hopefully this helps you out to be less bored, and less injury prone on the treadmill while you run! You can follow this first 5k series by subscribing, and/or watch from the start here:
We ask our friends about everything. But fitness advice should not be one of them unless they know what they’re talking about. Too many times friends will actually hinder you, to make themselves “feel normal” about being lazy!
I hope this gets you thinking, now go out and get those fitness gains.
Most people struggle with the fact that they hate the gym, but the have to go to maintain their health. So I made a double video mini series so explain exactly why we hate the gym, and the biggest error most people make right from the start.
This first video focusses on why finding an easy workout plan is setting you up for failure:
In the second I talk about how just going to the gym, will be meaningless to you over time, which leads to quitting. It’s better to first, think of something deeper you’d actually like to do, then make a plan to achieve those goals.
What do you think about this way of working out? It’s worked for me and many others for years, and I hope you can get in the best shape of your life with it too!
